My interests are also implementing AR into science education. I am sure that you will find the programming helpful to special education students. I will be looking at using the technology with all students.
Hi, I think your topic is good because special education is an area that needs more studies to help with positive integrations into the classroom. I think that science is an interesting subject to choose. I know that in my school district we have an emphasis on reading and it seems that science, social studies and health tend to fall by the rocks. I do think that the duration of your study is appropriate and the fact that you will have the study carrying over into other classes. I think you should narrow down the research to a particular grade level. Perhaps this will help to validate the study more and lessen the limitations on the study. Also maybe a subgroup of male and female would also add more interest to the study. This is a good start and I like the topic. The case study should be interesting as well, but exactly how many case studies will you provide to develop your overall study. Thank you for the post. Blessings.
Special education definitely has a need for studies. I believe that students in the special education programs can benefit just as much as the students of general ed classroom. There are so many things that I have found that can be done with AR in science and other curriculum areas. It is amazing that it has not caught on faster.
